Cabbage subji is one instant side dish u can make when u have less of everything at home.


Number of serving: 1
Cabbage 1 cup

Mixed vegetables 1cup( use frozen mixed vegetables which had carrots, beans, corn and peas in it)

Chilli powder 1 teaspoon

turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon

ginger garlic paste 1 teaspoon

Oil 1 teaspoon

Mustard seeds 1/4 teaspoon

Jeera 1/4 teaspoon

salt to taste


  • Heat oil in a kadai and add mustard seeds and jeera.
  • Now add chopped onions, then ginger garlic paste and saute.
  • Then add cabbage and all other vegetables.
  • Add chilli, turmeric powders and required salt to the vegetables.
  • Add the required salt, mix well, add little water mix, cover and cook till all vegetables cook and water evaporates.
