Cheesy tuna macaroni

Ingredients

Number of serving: 8
1 can of tuna

1 pack of elbow macaroni

1 small can of milk

1 foil pack tomato sauce

grated sharp cheddar cheese

1 onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

Preparation

  • 1. Saute garlic and onion is a saucepan with some oil.
    2. Add the tuna, cook for about 2 minutes.
    3. Add the tomato sauce and milk, stir then let simmer for about 5 minutes.
    4. Then add some of the grated cheese, then season with salt and pepper to your liking. Let simmer for another 5 minutes then turn off heat.
    5. Cook elbow macaroni according to package directions.
    6. In a microwave proof dish place cooked macaroni and then add sauce, toss well until all macaroni noodles are well coated. Then top with remaining cheese.
    7. Place the dish in the microwave, cook for 3 minutes on High.
    8. Afterwards, let the dish stand for 5 minutes before serving.
