Tzatziki, the greek sauce with cucumber and yogurt
A trip to Greece is on the horizon? You can't miss the famous tzatziki, or Greek cucumber dip :-) Today, we offer you a homemade version through a recipe so simple that it becomes foolproof! An opportunity to serve a sauce to your guests for the appetizer in which they can dip their chips and vegetable sticks. A recipe that ensures freshness and great flavor!

Preparation
Peel the cucumber and cut it in half lengthwise. Remove the seeds using a teaspoon. Then, cut it into pieces.
Put these pieces in the chopper and chop finely.
Put this cucumber purée in a strainer and press well to extract as much water as possible.
Add the strained cucumber purée to a bowl, and mix in the yogurt, chopped mint, minced garlic clove, and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper, and mix well.
And there you have it, your tzatziki is ready!
Observations
Herbs: here we used mint, but you can also use dill, or another herb, or even none at all.
Cucumber preparation: here we chopped the cucumber, but you can also grate it finely. Some prefer to cut it very finely.
