Croatian potato and peas

Ingredients

Number of serving: 2
350 grams of frozen


1 rounded soup spoon of vegeta

1 level soup spoon of paprika

2 litres of water

5 medium potatoes

salt and pepper

Preparation

  • In a large pot soften the onion in a little oil. Stir in paprika then peas.
  • Add water, vegeta, salt, pepper and bring to boil. Turn down heat to medium/low and cook for 30 minutes.
  • After 30 minutes add in potatoes and cook for around 1 hour or until the potatoes are tender and water has reduced a little.
  • Check for seasonings then using the back of a wooden spoon, squash some of the potatoes and cook for another 5 minutes. Spoon into bowls to serve.
