"fusion cuisine"- chinese vegetable pasta

Ingredients

- 3 cups Short Cut Pasta of your Choice
- 1/4 cup Onion cut into bite size pieces
- 1/4 cup Green Pepper
- 1/4 cup Red Bell Pepper
- 1/4 cup Carrots
- 1/4 cup Broccoli
- 1 tablespoon Corn kernels
- 1 tablespoon Green peas
- 1 tablespoon Green onion leaves/spring onions for garnish
- 1/2 teaspoonGinger garlic paste
- 1/2 teaspoonSoy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoonHot and sweet sauce
- 1/4 teaspoonground chili paste
- 1/4 teaspoonblack pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon sugar
- 2 tsbsp Roasted Cashews
- salt
- oil

Preparation

Step 1

Boil pasta in salted water till cooked (about 10 minutes). Drain and keep aside.

Step 2

In a Wok or big pan, heat some oil, add the ginger garlic paste and all the veggies. Saute for 2 minutes on high flame.This will help in keeping the veggies 'crisp' and not soggy.

Step 3

Add the cooked pasta,all the sauces,spices and mix.

Step 4

Turn off the flame and garnish with spring onions and roasted cashews.

Step 5

Enjoy the Chinese Flavored pasta warm or at room temp!
