Ikea meatballs with white sauce

Have you ever been to IKEA and tried their famous meatballs? We bring you the original recipe, but much tastier (because you make it) :D Delicious! Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and with a very smooth sauce. A perfect blend of flavors. Pair it with raspberry jam and mashed potatoes to complete this Swedish menu :)

For the meatballs:
In a bowl, mix the ground beef and ground pork. Add the chopped onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, and egg. Mix again.Finally, add the milk and season with salt and pepper.
Take a portion and form balls of your desired size (preferably not too large).Place the meatballs on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Drizzle some olive oil on top and bake for 20 minutes at 200°C (390°F).
For the sauce:
In a pan, melt the butter and add the flour. Stir and cook for 2 minutes.Add the warmed broth and stir until it thickens. Incorporate the fresh cream, soy sauce, and mustard. Cook for 5 more minutes.
To serve:
Serve the meatballs with the sauce on top and accompany with mashed potatoes and berry jam on the same plate.And there you have it! Delicious!
Observations
* Making the meatballs medium/small in size yields about 40 units.
