Number of serving: 4

1) Dough:

1 tsp active dry yeast

2 cups of warm water

1 cup of wheat flour

5 cups of all purpose flour

1.5 tsp salt

1 tbsp olive oil

2) Filling:

2 medium size onions (diced)

2 tbsp cooking oil

1 tbsp tomato paste

1-2 tsp salt

0.5 tsp sugar

200g ground soy meat

1-2 tbsp water

2 tbsp of minced parsley

Spices (black pepper is a must)


  • Dissolve the yeast in a large bowl. Add wheat flour and one cup of all purpose flour, and stir.
  • Cover the mixture and put aside for 10 minutes, up to 3 hours. Add oil and salt.
  • Add oil and salt. Slowly add the remaining flour until it is hard to stir.
  • Turn the dough over the slightly floured surface, and knead it for 6-8 minutes. The dough should not stick to your hands while you are kneeding. If necessary add more flour.
