A very good receipt! Delicious and fast! easy to make and accompany well by its ultra good sauce.


Number of serving: 4
Onions - 2 (Chop thin lengthwise),

Green chilly - 1 (Finely chopped),

Ginger - 1/2 inch(Finely chopped),

Cilantro and curry leaves - Chopped 1/2 cup,

Cashew/Badam - 1/2 cup,

Gram flour - 1/4 cup,

Rice flour - 4 tsp,

Salt - 2 tea spoons ,

Red chilly powder - 1 tea spoon,

Oil - for frying.


  • In a bowl combine all the ingredients except oil without water and leave for not more than 5minutes.
  • Heat oil in kadai, mix the ingredients with hands, wih the water released from onions. Now add a tsp of hot oil in the mixture and mix together. If needed, add very little water and mix.
  • Take small portion from the mixture and splatter it in the oil, they dont stick and turn out crispy. Fry till they turn brown and crispy.
  • Serve hot in the evenings with tea, plate will get empty in minutes.
