Ingredients

Number of serving: 2
Chicken cut into small pieces  – 1 kg

Shallots crushed  – 1 cup

Garlic paste  – 1 talespoon

Ginger paste  – 1 talespoon

Pepper powder  – 1 talespoon

Kashmiri Chilli powder  – 2 talespoon

Coriander powder  – 1 talespoon

Turmeric powder  – 1 teaspoon

Garam masala  – 1 teaspoon

Vinegar  – 1 talespoon

Oil  – 3 talespoons

Salt to taste

Curry leaves  – 2 twigs

Preparation

  • Marinate the chicken with all the ingredients except curry leaves. Keep aside for a minimum of 1 hour.
  • Heat a heavy bottomed pan and add the marinated chicken. Cover the pan and cook this at a medium heat till the chicken becomes soft.
  • Then cook this uncovered until all the broth evaporates. Add the curry leaves and stir till the chicken well-browned.
  • Once they have attained the color, switch off flame.
  • Serve hot with rice or chappathi.
