- In a medium size glass bowl, melt the chocolate you plan to use as your base coat.
- Put it in for 30 seconds on High. Take it out and stir the chips. Put it back in for another 15 seconds. Again, stir the chips. Continue this process until chips are melted.
- This shouldn’t take long. After the second time in the microwave, stir the chocolate a bit longer, it will probably all melt.
- Line a sheet pan with wax or parchment paper. Hold the strawberry by the stem or leaves. Dip the strawberry into the chocolate. When removing from the chocolate, twist the strawberry just a bit and let the excess chocolate drip back into the bowl.
- Lay the coated strawberry onto the pan. Melt the other chocolate in the same manner as before. To make the drizzle lines, dip a fork into the chocolate and drizzle the chocolate over the strawberry.
- To make the color blocks. Let the base coat dry thoroughly. Hold the strawberry at an angle and dip into one color. Let cool and repeat with third color. Let chocolate harden then lay in cupcake papers.
