Ingredients

Number of serving: 6
2 cups flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup unsalted butter

1 1/2 cups white sugar


2 teaspoons vanilla

1/2 cup raspberry jam

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Grease a 9x13 inch baking.
    Combine flour, baking powder and salt in medium bowl.
  • Melt butter in large saucepan over low heat; remove from heat.
  • Alternatively, the butter may be melted in a bowl in the microwave.
  • Stir the sugar into the melted butter until dissolved.
  • Whisk quickly in the eggs and vanilla.
  • Stir in flour mixture until just incorporated.
  • Spread the batter into the prepared pan.
  • Pour the raspberry jam over the dough.
  • Stir the jam through the dough with a knife to create a marbled effect.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
