A healthy dip for your veggies and crackers

1 cup frozen edamame beans

1/4 cup asian sesame dressing

2 tbsp water

1/2 tbsp minced ginger root

1 tbsp lemon juice

1/2 tsp wasabi

1 clove garlic(optional)

1 green onion (optional)

colorful peppers to serve

If you want to make your own sesame dressing the recipe can be viewed here :


  • Cook edamame in a saucepan of boiling water until crisp -tender, 3-4 minutes. Drain, rinse with cold water.
  • Place cooked edamame with all the remaining ingredients except peppers in a food processor or blender.
  • Process until smooth add a tsp of water if it seems thick.
  • Transfer to a bowl and serve with anything from veggies to rice crackers.
