8th mediterranean cooking event ? Cyprus

The 3dr largest island in the mediterranean is Cyprus. Geographically the island belongs to Asia, politically though to Europe. The island of Cyprus has seen a lot of history and the influences on the cuisine are versitile. Not only Ottoman, Arabic and Greek culture has influenced the local cuisine, also traces of northern European and Asian influences can be found due to the collonial times.

The 8th Mediterranean Cooking Event has started and the topic is:

Start date is the 10th of May 2010.

End date is the 10th of June 2010.

Who can participate?

Everyone that blogs and loves food.
