Autumn Traditions with The King?s Cupboard
Autumn brings us the gifts of: Falling leaves; bounty from the garden; a palette of amazing tree color; crisp, cool days and chilly evenings; scarecrows; carving pumpkins; apple cider; the scent of fireplaces burning; football; the World Series; bonfires; hunting; shorter days; Halloween; Hanukkah; Thanksgiving and many more seasonal occasions.
What are your traditions for autumn? Do you visit the apple orchard for apples each September? If so, what do you do with all those apples you bring home? Does the smell of warm apple cider bring back fond memories? How about homemade applesauce, caramel apples or apple pie? The King?s Cupboard would like to be a part of your autumn tradition with our cream caramel sauces. Try your hand at creating a gourmet caramel apple using The King?s Cupboard Caramel sauces. You can choose between Organic Cream Caramel, traditional King’s Cupboard Caramel Sauce, Pear Cinnamon Caramel, Coffee Caramel or Three Chilies Cream Caramel for a little spice in your bite! Add a chocolate flourish to your caramel apple and drizzle with one of our chocolate sauces. You may start a new autumn tradition.One jar of caramel sauce yields 3 ? 4 small apples. Spear apples with a wooden dowel or stick Empty one jar of any flavor caramel sauce into a heavy saucepan. Heat sauce until candy thermometer reads 230 degrees. Dip your apple until coated and place on a cookie sheet lined with greased parchment paper. Place in refrigerator until cool. *Keep temp at 230 degrees. To garnish with chocolate sauce: Heat any flavor of King’s Cupboard chocolate sauce and drizzle on cold caramel apple.
