Barista - Lavazza Coffee

Barista uses Lavazza coffee which is the No. 1 Italian espresso brand. Lavazza is the largest coffee company in Italy & the 6th largest roaster in the world.It is one of the popular cafe all over India. There are 34 outlets in Mumbai itself and many more in other major cities of India.
Barista has its outlets in Oman, UAE , Sri lanka & Bangladesh as well.





B&D on a hunt for the Popular Coffee houses in India:
We are coffee people..we need our dose of coffee in any form...so we asked our friends and they recommend Barista. It is said to be the best and one of the most popular hangout spots for the young crowd and take away for busy business bodies.
It was not very diffcult to find one.. there is one near JW Marriot so it was easy for us to get there...Once we got there i felt a bit different coz its not the usually seating or atmosphere of a coffee house that we are use to over here in kuwait...
The menu has a lot to choose from...hot/cold beverages ,tea , shakers, salads, sandwiches, pasta's & desserts.
We ordered:
Cold Beverages: Brrista caramel Thrill , Frappe Hazelnut & Brrista cookie crunch
Refreshing Alternatives: Lime Mojito's
Sandwiches: Chicken Tikka Sandwich and smoked chicken sandwich.
We really enjoyed what ever we had. i loved the presentation of the drinks..reminds me of lino's coffee.
Coffee and the food was good Good atmosphere & Need alot of work on the staffParking would be a small problem :)Dont wait for them to bring the menu to you just go and grab one from the front counter and start pondering :)Quick service and please ask for you bill coz if you dont get your bill its free of charge.Indoor / Outdoor seating is availableReasonabble costing... (the bill for two i.e for us came upto 700-800 Rs which is 5 - 6 KD )
