Beetroot Carrot Halwa/Beetroot Carrot Pudding
I need not talk abt the health benefits of Beet and Carrots,as my dear frnds already knw how good these vegetables r for ones health...
Healthy,Low Cal,Sugarfree,Guilt free ..call it anything but believe me theres no compromise on taste... Tastes Heavenly and my fav fav fav in halwas...So go Dig into this gorgeous looking and tasting Beet-Carrot Halwa..... Peeled and Grated Beetroot - 2 cups Grated Carrot - 1 cup with skin Ghee - 1 tsp or skip it 2% Milk - 2 1/4 cups Seedless Dates chopped - 11/4 cup,crushed Cardamon powder - 1 tsp Toasted Crushed Pistachio-3 tblsp Chopped Almonds-few(7-8nos) Method- Heat a nonstick pan and add grated carrot and beets. Fry for sumtime till water is almost evaporated and it shrinks. Now add the dates,almonds fry for 2-3 mins and add milk and allow it to boil on medium flame. Mix well and cook till milk is absorbed completely.Add tsp of ghee,pista powder and cardamon powder and mix well.
