Serves: 12 You need 1 cup (150 g ) besan 1 cup ( 160 g ) wholemeal plain flour 1 cup (150 g ) white plain flour 1 teaspoon salt 3 tablespoons ghee 3/4 cup (180 ml) warm water, approximately 125 g ghee melted, extra Method 1, Sift flours, salt into a medium bowl,rub in ghee; mix in enough water to make a firm dough.
2, Knead dough on a floured surface about 5 minutes or until smooth; cover , refrigerate for 30 minutes. 3, Divide dough into 12 pieces, roll out each piece, on a floured surface, into a 17 cm round roti. 4, Brush roti on each side with extra ghee; cook , one at a time, on a heated tawa or dry non - stick pan, until brown on both sides.
