Book review - The Cookie and Biscuit Bible...
When I saw this book on the shelf I just had to buy it! And I wasn't wrong. Indeed it's like a bible - all you need to know (and more) about cookie/muffins/scones making. The book is divided into very handy chapters starting with the one titled 'The art of making and baking cookies' - where you find all the basics (equipment, different kind of cookies, decoration methods, packaging etc.). There is a cookie for every occasion and every mood ;) From teatime treats, kid's party pieces, dessert cookies for no-bake cookies, savoury crackers and many more. The only minus I found with this book is its size - although it's hard cover and nice paper, it's A4 format. Hardly fitting on my table after I lay down all the ingredients and equipment... Have to change the table for bigger, or change the whole kitchen altogether ;)It's impossible for me to choose my favourites from this one (as thee are over 400 recipes!). I already made and enjoyed: - Chocolate box cookies (p.214) - Yogurt honey muffins (p.386) I'm planning on making Biscoti very soon :) If you are looking for a book with recipes to discover, enjoy and have fun making - this book is definitely for you! related searches : Book
