Cheese Alert

If you are a regular Costco shopper like I am, you know that their cheese selection during the holiday season is great. I've tried many cheeses that I otherwise wouldn't have had the opportunity to try. When I saw this Vintage White Extra Sharp Cheddar from our own Tillamook Country Creamery I didn't hesitate a minute to put it into my shopping cart. I'm going back for more.

This award winning cheddar has been aged for 2 years, the longest of all Tillamook Creamery's cheddars. It's the sharpest of their cheddars and has a slightly crumbly texture. It is wonderful with wine and fruit and melts beautifully when heated. I made my favorite broiled tomato cheddar sammies today and when I tasted them made with this vintage white cheddar I couldn't wait to get to my computer to tell you about it. So grab your coat and get on over to Costco to get some of this marvelous cheese. You will be so happy you did.
