Good morning!!  :D

This morning I wasn?t Granny Em??.I slept till 9am!

And then a delicious breakfast followed my amazing nights sleep.

French pressed coffee [now a weekend specialty] and Holiday Oats.

Holiday Oats

1/3 cup oats
1/4 cup pumpkin puree
water
dash of pumpkin pie spice
drizzle of agave nectar
almond butter
Molasses cookie

1)  Combine first 5 ingredients into a bowl

2) Microwave for approximately 2 minutes.

3) Top with almond butter and crumbled up cookie!

****Russell has given me 2 new pet names this week??.Oatmeal Girl and Cookie Monster.  Making 2 different kinds of cookies, just for the heck of it, this week has left us with lots and lots of cookies.  Needless to say, I?ve eaten my fare share!!  And Oatmeal girl, well, I think I?ve had oatmeal for breakfast everyday this week and for dinner a few days too!  So a cookie on my oatmeal this morning only seemed appropriate!  ;)

Holy deliciousness!!!  This was Christmas and Thanksgiving crammed into a bowl!

Unfortunately, I?ve become a daily user of my brews a single cup-of-coffee Keurig.  While I love it because of its convenience, I definitely miss my French pressed coffee Monday through Friday.  So now when I do drink French pressed coffee, it always feels like a treat.  This morning, however, I made it extra special.

I ground up my whole beans and then added 1/8 tsp vanilla extract to the grounds before adding the hot water to my press.

Most flavored coffees I think taste cheap and I?m usually not a fan of them, but flavoring good coffee with natural and real flavors, I think I might like!

My coffee was just barely hinted with vanilla?I loved it!!

While enjoying my breakfast I flipped through a Christmas catalog.

And about 5 minutes later my sister called and asked if I wanted to go Christmas shopping.  Sure!

Bring on the bargains.  ;)

What pet names have you proudly earned?

Do you flavor your own coffee at home?

Have you started Christmas shopping?
