Corn on the Cob

Its been a bit too long since I wrote about some random stuff. Was a bit overwhelmed with my pain for sometime, I barely got well when we got some guests :) You know how life is! Anyway, heres a simple and incredibly tasty recipe for corn.





Roast corn on the grill or on a gas burner. One thing to be very aware of - one make sure this is not the pre-cut variety, so that you can easily handle it on the grill; both yellow and white are fine. As you roast this on the grill (it will take some time) make sure its blackish on all sides. It is MUCH faster on the gas burner, don't multi-task with this on.



Take a plate and add coarse salt and red chilli powder. Take half a wedge of lime, squeeze it on the corn and dab it on the salt and chilli powder. Do this till you cover all parts of the corn. It is important that you use lime instead of lemon, the taste explosion is insane.



This may sound incredibly simple, but I guarantee it -- it is FREAKIN AWESOME!!!!! Just don't burn yourself when you handle the corn.
