Cucumber Idli
![]() Ingridents: Cucumber - 1Fine Sooji - 1 cupCurd (Slightly Sour) - 1 cupGreen Chillies (Chopped) 2Ginger (Chopped - 1' pieceBaking Soda - 1 tspSalt for tasteoil (for greasing) - 1 tspTime Required: 30 mins Directions: 1. Grind roughly the chopped green chillies and ginger and salt to it. 2. Grate the cucumber and keep aside. Discard the seeds if they are not tender. 3. In a vessel mix the grated cucumber and the chilly-ginger -salt mix. 4. To this mixture, add the sour curd and baking soda & Rava and mix well. The mixture will forth slightly. 5. Grease a plate with oil and pour the mix into it. 6. Steam this in a cooker (without the whistle) for 10 -12 mins 7. When cooled, cut into pieces or Serve hot. Serving: Serve hot with coconut chutney or tomatto chutney. Note: Bansi rawa can also be used instead of fine sooji. Coriander leaves and curry leaves can also be added to the mixture. related searches : Cucumber
