Deep Fried Banana Rolls

It has been nine months of living in the Netherlands and it is my first time to buy bananas to make some Toron or Deep Fried Banana Rolls. At first, i thought they don't have this banana (saba) but i was glad my friend showed me what it looks like. It is not like our typical banana in the Philippines but it is similar to the bananas we eat as fruit (looks similar to lacatan). Peel and cut the bananas to fit the wrappers. Spread a little brown sugar on the lumpia wrapper, add the banana. Alternatively, roll the banana in the sugar instead of sprinkling some on the wrapper. Add jackfruit with the banana. Roll like how you make lumpia. Wet the end flap with a little water or beaten egg to seal. Deep fry at about for 5-7 minutes per batch. Best serve for snack time with cold drinks. Lekker eten!
