Fried squid rings with maggi coating mix

Ingredients

Number of serving: 4
400 g squid, cleaned

2 eggs, lightly beaten

2 tablespoons milk, liquid

2 cloves garlic, crushed

Pinch of ground black pepper

1 sachet maggi Coating Mix

2 cups vegetable oil for frying

Preparation

  • Cut squid into ½ cm thick rings. In a bowl, combine, eggs, milk garlic and pepper. Dip squid rings in egg mixture, drain off excess, and then toss in the maggi Secretes Coating Mix. Deep fry rings in preheated 190°C hot oil for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with lemon or tartar sauce.
