Fresh Cream Pound Cake
This recipe has nothing fancy or complicated. As a matter of fact is it just an excuse to use the fresh cream that I get delivered at home in Asturias. Fresh cream from just milked and boiled milk ? music to my ears! I usually get once a week a nice amount of cream that I use in my baking. This time I just wanted to use the cream in something easy and quick ? and nice for breakfast! This recipe is one of my favorite ones for pound cake. The cake It is just a very simple and tasty. I bake it with apples, as a base for cupcakes ? I hope you like it. Ingredients Serves 6-8 75gr unsalted butter, softened 125g sugar 200g flour 1 tsp baking powder Pinch of salt 2 medium eggs 150 ml cream Directions Preheat the oven at 180º. Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Mix the eggs and cream and add to the butter mixture, beating in each addition thoroughly. Sieve together the flour, salt and baking powder. Fold it into the cake mixture.Bake for 60 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. related searches : Fresh
