- Pour some caramel on the bottom of a greased mould. Arrange some pineapple slices on it.
- Put a cherry in each hole (optional).
- Beat the sugar with the butter until it gets creamy. Add the eggs and mix well.
- Then, add the flour and the baking powder.
- Pour this batter in the mould.
- Bake 45 minutes at 350°F.
- There you are, your upside down pineapple cake is ready!
