Easy pineapple upside down cake
For a simple and effective dessert, nothing beats this homemade pineapple upside down cake :-) This recipe is so easy and foolproof that it can also be made with children for an afternoon snack.

Pour some caramel on the bottom of a greased cake pan. Arrange the pineapple slices on top.
Place a cherry in each hole of the pineapple slices (optional).
Beat the butter with the sugar until creamy. Add the eggs and mix well.
Then, add the flour and baking powder, and mix well.
Pour this batter into the cake pan.
Bake for 45 minutes at 350°F.
And there you have it, your pineapple upside down cake is ready!
