Grass fed burgers two ways
Last week I made some super yummy burgers. Here’s the recap: Start by assembling all of your goodies. For my burger, I sliced a red onion, chopped a few white mushrooms and sliced some Kilaree cheddar. Save some cheese for yourself. My boyfriend wanted something a little simpler – for his burgers I cooked some bacon and sliced up some sharp cheddar cheese. Make some burger patties. I start by rolling hunks of beef into balls…beef balls. I digress. Then I squish the balls between 2 layers of wax paper or plastic wrap. Voila! Beef Patties! This meat is 100% grass fed beef from Whole Foods. It makes all the difference. Wash your hands and enjoy some of your lovely cheese snack! Caramelize the onions and render the bacon. Cook the mushrooms in the leftover bacon fat. Trust me on this one.
Slice ‘em in half, and butter liberally. Toast them in the oven for 5-10 min around 400 degrees.
