Hello.


Do you other bloggers out there ever run out of blog post titles??  Yea that’s me today.  :)


Holy cow….I’m pretty sure this new job is gonna rock!  My new schedule is sooo much better!  Whooo hooo.


Morning Snack



I kept it simple with some veggies:  eight, well actually 7 baby carrots….I gave one to a kid….I mean who am I to deny a child a vegetable?!?! And 2 celery stalks.  :)


Lunch


Leave it to bad lighting, boring back grounds, and tupperware to make a lunch look blah



My lunch was pretty tasty, but was rather small.  A fruit or salad next time, maybe?



1/2 of a wheat pita loaf
1/2 of an avocado mixed with pico de gallo and an all natural turkey sausage patty [for some protein]


I liked my lunch combo, I just wish it had held me over a little bit longer.


Afternoon Snack


Hello sunflower butter.



And hello cat.


Rocky helps me out in the kitchen of a morning.  :)


My first try at sunflower butter which I have been recommend half-a-zillion times. 



Sliced fuji apple with 1 tbsp sunflower butter.


Sunflower butter [like any other nut butter] is good, but I don’t think it’s my favorite.


What’s your favorite nut butter???  Brand???


I’m pretty sure I have 5 different jars of nut butter going right now:



sunflower butter
combo nut butter [almond and peanut mixed]
almond butter
and 2 different brand of peanut butter 

And the funny thing is, is that they all have different purposes!!  :D


I hit up the gym following work today….YAY for packing workout clothes and not having to come back home!


My workout consisted of 30 minutes on a spin bike [solo sweat fest], lower body weights, and abs.  The hubs isn’t home yet so I’m stalling on dinner even though I’m hungry so I used downed a post-workout snack:



Recent research shows that chocolate milk is a great recovery drink.  You’ll never find me arguing with chocolate consumption that’s recommended via research.  :D


My snack was 8 oz of chocolate soy milk and 1/2 slice of Manna organic carrot raisin bread.
