His Grace Cafe - Hidden Gem at Clifford Centre

By Eat Drink and Be Merry (Visit website)

Nestled in a corner of the second level of Clifford Centre, this coffee shop is indeed a hidden gem in the CBD district. Unlike giant coffee chains like Starbucks or Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, this is an even simplified  yet relaxing and casual no frills shop to get some good solid coffee. Order what you want at the counter, pay and wait for your orders to be served at your table.

Ice Chocolate ($3.80)

The ice blended chocolate had a delightful smooth texture and wasn't very sweet yet I was able to taste real chocolate in it. It was close to a chocolate milk shake consistency but it didn't make me feel sickly of it and I managed to finish it right to the last drop. Yummy chocolate goodness all in one cup.

Latte ($3.20)

One of the most highly recommended drinks. It was served piping hot and a bit of froth on the top. The smell of the coffee was really fragrant. I am no coffee connoisseur but this latte was really good and probably better than that of the other coffee chains. Most importantly, it's competitive pricing would sure win you over. For those working in this area, go get your coffee today if you have not done so!
