HOOTER'S RESTAURANT CHAIN UNDER FIRE

By SACRAMENTO BLOG UNCUT (Visit website)

Today as I was surfing the Internet I ran across three or four different articles about Court Documents filed against Hooter's restaurant's here in California.

Apparently a San Francisco area attorney has filed court papers on behalf of the National Organization for Women (N.O.W.) alleging that the Hooters restaurant chain was violating state and local laws by marketing itself as an adult oriented business while selling food and products to minors.

Huh?

Other articles that I read referred to the Hooter's servers as being dressed in "Scantily Clad" outfits. I disagree. They are dressed in the Hooter's Uniform.

The servers are in fact covered & not showing any midriff. I have been in some of the other "family" restaurants & witnessed a lot more skin being shown off by the servers.

Right now I know of 2 restaurants in Sacramento where the servers are wearing skin tight jeans that leave little to the imagination. Recently I was at a local waffle house & noticed one of the servers with all four buttons of her polo shirt unbuttoned, giving the customers a full view of her cleavage. So what's the deal? Why target Hooters? Contrary to what a lot of people believe, Hooter's is a halfway decent organization that does a lot of charity work.

When I visited Hooter's restaurant the servers were polite, professional & courteous. There was no flirtation going on, they were just doing their job serving meals. Basically, it was a bunch of people watching the game on TV & having lunch.

Click on the "older posts" link to read my review of Hooter's.

So what do you think? Should kids be allowed to go inside Hooter's & enjoy a meal? Or should Hooter's be for Adults only?

Please post your comments A.S.A.P.
