Iced Green Tea

Iced Green Tea


I drink iced decaf green tea.  It sounds insane, but it’s delicious.  Even the kids love it.


16 1 cup bags of decaf green tea


10 packets Truvia


2 packets yellow, pink, or blue fake sugar


~1.5 gallon container


water


1.  Dump tea and sweetener into giant pitcher which is actually intended for cereal. (Notice that I rip off all of the little bag tags.  I got tired of finding a stray floating at the bottom of my last glass.



2.    Pour pot of almost boiling water over bags.  Realize it’s not near enough and add a quart of screaming hot tap water.  Steep for 5 minutes…or way more since you forgot it while blogging.


3.    Dump all your ice in and fill to the top with cool water.


4.    Fish out all of the tea bags, squeeze, and toss in compost pile.


5.    Enjoy!
