It?s Time For a Little Table Talk

One of the most exciting parts of the holidays are the meals. For some families the holidays are the only time they spend together all year. It is time for conversation and eating delicious food. Many families talk about what is new in their lives. It is the time when children learn about family traditions. Many families celebrate the same holidays; everyone celebrates a little different. As a little girl, my Grandmother had a small grandfather clock, which was the talk of the kitchen table. It was a small grandfather clock with dark wood, gold hands and numeric numbers.  We wanted to purchase Grandmother a bigger clock, but she was happy with the small clock. If I was to purchase one of the  grandfather clocks, I would buy a modern contemporary one. I like the abstract art and the size of the Howard Tempo Grandfather clock. Because it weights under 50 pounds I could easily move it around with furniture movers, when I rearrange my living room.  It is a silver stand alone clock with a white clock face, black bar hour marks, and black hands. It has the two arms that cross like two arms crisscrossed. I would put in the corner of my living close to my television; it would be a welcome decoration in my home.
