Japanistic Bento Box Contest
I am very happy to announce a new bento contest in partnership with our friends from Japanistic! In celebration of the arrival of warmer weather, the theme of this bento contest is “The Garden”! So put your “bento-thinking caps” on and create a lunch (or snack) featuring a garden theme. And that could mean almost anything… what’s your favorite vegetable or flower? Do you have a cactus garden? What about mythical or real garden creatures ? Do you have a birdhouse that’s the envy of the neighborhood? The possibilities are endless and it doesn’t need to be charaben or kyaraben. A healthy, well balanced bento with vegetables fits the theme too! Also write a description of your inspiration along with your entry. One winner takes all… a matching set of three BPA free bentos featuring this cute little gardening bee! 2 Tier Bento Microwave and dishwasher safe, with chopsticks. Great for larger snacks or a healthy lunch. Includes two containers to keep your food separate, one pair of chopsticks, and an elastic strap to keep it all together. Measures approximately: 6.42 x 3.3 3.35 inches / 163 x 83 x 85 mm. (250 ml in the top and 380 in the bottom). Note: the lid must be removed prior to being microwaved. 1 tier Bento Large Papier Creature Land bento box. Take the lid off and it is safe for microwave use. Pop the lid back on and you can take a warm lunch to work. Also dishwasher safe. Snap closures means no leaks.
