Lamb Mekanek

This is a traditional dish from the north of Lebanon where lamb sausages are practically on every lunch table. Since the area is well-known for its pomegranates, the fruit sauce is also used in this recipe.

Ingredients

200 g lamb sausages
?5 ml olive oil
?5 ml pomegranate sauce
?5 ml lemon juice?
5 g each, salt and pepper

Method

Heat olive oil in a pan till hot. ?Add sausages and cook for 5 minutes ?or till browned. Now add the remaining ingredients and sauté well. Serve immediately.
