Milo Marbled Cake
This is an old bake sometime ago. Forget to post it up though. It's actually a standard marbled cake. But my sister suggested a milo cake so I decided to replace the chocolate portion in the cake with milo powder instead. How much milo powder required depends on how 'miloey' you want it to be ! ? ![]() Recipe Modified from <I Love Butter Cake> by Kevin Chai Ingredients : ***************** 300g butter 200g sugar 4 eggs 200g plain flour 1/2 tsp baking powder 20g milo powder (for a more miloey taste, increase milo powder and decrease plain flour by same amount) ***************** Method :1. Grease and line a 20cm (8-inch) baking tin. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C. 2. Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add in eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition. 3. Fold in sifted flour and baking powder to form a batter. Reserve 200g batter mix with milo powder to form milo batter. 4. Spread batters alternately into prepared tin. 5. Bake for 40 minutes or until cooked. related searches : Milo
