Osho Ashram and Koregaon Park in Pune, India

By Online Cooking Schools - Meditative Cooking with Love, Cooking as Meditation (Visit website)

The Gateless Gate - Osho International Meditation Resort

Koregaon Park and Pune...... Some great moments and some low moments in my life. The dialectics of existence in its utmost intensity, both me and my husband have experienced in this place. Yet we silently remembered in our inner spaces what our Beloved Master has said...... " This too shall pass"

The beautiful ashram was made by my master Osho and his beloved sannyasins. Of course, now many things have changed there, but it was heaven some few years ago. When Osho was alive in His body, this place was a mecca for seekers of Truth.

Koregaon Park which was like a forest in the 70's-80's has now become very commercialized and is very expensive. It is a place where many Osho Sannyasins still reside. It is home for many sannyasins.

This suburb also has many restaurants offering Indian and International Cuisines and is frequented both by Indians and Westerners. But my favorite eating place is Zorba the Buddha in the Osho Ashram.

By the way, the ashram still serves great food both Indian and Continental. Earlier the food in the ashram was made by the sannyasins, but now it is made by chefs and cooks who are given the contract by the ashram officials.

Osho Ashram and Koregaon Park is one place which will remain etched in my memories forever.
Here it is I discovered unknown facets of meditation and healing. Here it is I came close to my master Osho. Here it is that I met Swami Rajneesh - a Rebellious Enlightened Osho Devotee and Lover. No fullstop here..... Life has manifested in miraculous ways for both of us. From the depths of pain and sadness to the peaks of bliss.......We have only tears of gratitude for this vast existence and for our Master Osho.

I hear Bhagwan silently telling me......  Charaiveti, Charaiveti............
Continue, continue going on and on and on, because there is much more to be discovered.........

I landed at Calcutta this morning. I felt ten years younger. Nothing had changed. Except you had to control your bladder even longer with the crowds and just one loo in the arrival lounge. A dirty, stinky one. And the pre-paid cab[...]

A bit deflated after Arsalan I ambled into the sweetshop next door. It's name was Jugal's. Sounded like a North Indian name to me. It was a Bengali sweetshop. I thought that it could be something like Gangurams, a traditional Bengali[...]
