Ingredients:
1 heaped cup flour (maida)
1/2 tsp baking soda

Preparation:
Pre-heat oven to 2000C degrees for 10 minutes
Sift the flour and baking soda thrice
In a large bowl, mix granulated sugar, demerara sugar, butter and vanilla essence
Break the egg into another bowl (to make sure its not rotten) then pour it into the mixture and beat well
Add the flour mixture and mix well
Add the chocolate chips and mix again
Make small cookie balls, flatten a little and place on an ungreased baking sheet (give at least an inch of space between each of the cookies 'cos they'll grow in size as they get baked)
Bake in batches for approximately 9-10 mins each (by now you should be seeing your neighbours at your doorstep....obviously, it's smelling better outside)
Allow them to cool completely before removing from the baking sheets (or the paper will stick to the cookie)
My son (Shlok) and I are munching some cookies while I write
and he says, "Amma, very nice, I like it"!!
Enjoy a handful of these divine, crispy, and chocolatey cookies with a cup full of cold milk
I bet your kiddo will not be fussy anymore!!
Yours tastefully!!
