Pool, pad thai, & photo booth
Sorry for the lack of updates. My internet connection at the new place is extremely finicky. If anyone know what the heck ?installing new firmware? entails [so said the nice man with the accent via Netgear technical support], please message me. Ha. Photobooth before I left Bloomington {land of the green friendly, local food loving}.
And?working backward?.Friday started out with another sweaty run. I know I?m such a wimp compared to all you hardcore runners who pound the pavement in triple digit temps (ahem Matt, Laur, and Mica) and ridiculous humidity. Dinner was fantastic. We went to Esan Thai, where all the food was most definitely authentic and not too spicy, even for this wimpy Asian. My sister and I both got pad thai, and it was delicious.
Today I went to Soulard Market, which is the biggest farmers market I?ve ever seen. I am so sad that my camera is still hanging out somewhere with Mona?s family in Indiana. I wish you could have seen all the fresh produce! Things that only cost $1: bag of apples 2 heads of romaine lettuce bag of grapes 2 onions 3 cucumbers bunch of fresh basil 4 avocados!!!It was amazing. Definitely a foodie paradise. Next time I go, I will most definitely take photos (and hopefully have my camera). Tonight, I?m going to the MUNY to see Hairspray. Weather.com tells me it feels like 100 out, and I believe it (no central air in this house). Anybody have suggestions for keeping cool in the heat? :-)
