Potato Chips in My Ice Cream?! (Video Blog!)

By THE CANDID RD (Visit website)

Before I begin today's post I want to say THANK YOU to Jen of Read, Eat, Move for the kind comment you left on my blog, but most importantly I want to tell you that it's impossible to leave a comment on your blog, which is likely why you have zero comments! Try commenting from another computer and you will see what I mean....

Today I'm presenting you my first video blog (very rough draft). The video below is a tutorial on how I create my crazy ice cream (frozen yogurt) flavors. I really did this video on a whim, completely randomly, so it starts from after I've mixed all the ingredients and then turned on the ice cream maker. If you want my basic vanilla recipe (which is what I always begin with) check out this post. After making the basic vanilla recipe I always add random ingredients. Here is what I added on this particular occasion.....

If the video doesn't work please let me know, as I plan to do more of these and I need to figure out what problems exist. I'd also like to know if it takes more than about 30 seconds to load. In case you can't view the video, what I did was create the basic vanilla recipe (find the recipe on this post) and then added unsweetened dark chocolate cocoa powder, some salt and pepper chips, and chunks of dark and milk chocolate.

End product = DELICIOUS!

The only thing I might do differently next time is use regular potato chips, as the pepper in these chips sort of added an odd flavor. Why did I add chips to my frozen yogurt? Why not?! I love the combination of salty and sweet. I also hate letting the little crumbs go to waste.

Coming Up
Tomorrow I will be posting about some marketing strategies that really urked me this weekend. I won't really call it a famous "Gina rant" per se, but it's pretty close!

Thanks for reading everyone, and have a great day!
