Putien is a town along the coast of Fujian province, China.  While its cuisine is not as exquisite as Cantonese nor as hearty as the Hakka's, it is simple and rich in flavours.  Putien Restaurant is a good place to start on Heng Hwa cuisine.  Generally, their seafood dishes are better executed but most of the other stuff are well worth the calories too.  Putien celebrates its 10th anniversary today! While today is the last day for their ala carte buffet at City Square Mall but Putien will greet us with a new menu as of tomorrow! Congrats to Putien and cheers to many good food and years to come!
