Rialto Market, Venice - Italy

For over a week, my friend Wendy and I had been trying to get to Venice for lunch and a visit to the farmers market. This was a plan we had cooked up some months ago, and while it does seem a bit over the top, we were determined.  Easy Jet and Mother Nature had other plans for us however, so it took several false starts before we actually set foot on the Rialto where everything was in full swing at 9:15am.
