Rice

Rice is cooked by boiling or steaming, and absorbs water during cooking. It can be cooked in just as much water as it absorbs or in large quantity of water and then drained before serving.

Ingredients :

Rice - 1 cup

Water - 3 cups

Preparation :

Wash the rice before cooking. You can pressure cook or boil it by adding 3 cups of water.Water may differ for basmati and other type. For pacharisi and pulunghal arisi 1:3 is the ratio.
Serve it with sambhar and any vegetables
