Spicy spinach corn recipe
Ingredients : Spinach - 1 pack [10oz] onion - 1 [small or medium] green chilli - 2 cumin - 2 tbsp red pepper flakes - 1 tbsp garlic - 2 cloves all-purpose flour - 1 tsp butter - 1 tbsp For aroma and spice: garam masala -1 tsp amchur powder - pinch cumin powder - 1 tsp chilli powder - 1 tsp coriander powder - 1 tsp Corn - 1 no or if separated corn seeds - 4-5 tbsp Method : 1.Boil water and cook the spinach in water till it becomes tender . 2.Separate corn seeds and boil it in water separately for around 15 min. 3.Drain the water and keep both separately. 4.Heat the pan and add oil , add cumin seeds , chopped garlic, chopped chilli and then chopped onions and fry it onion is glassy and tender. 5.Move the above along with boiled spinach and run it smooth to proper consistency. 6. In a pan add butter and once it had melted add flour and keep stirring it. 7.Transfer the mix to pan with above sauce and then add garammasala, cumin powder, coriander powder , amchur powder ,chilli powder [however these are optional] 7.Keep boiling it till the raw aroma of powder is gone. 8.After few mintues add the drained corn and mix it again . Take it off from stove, add cheese for garnishing Goes well with chappati , naan , jeera rice or plain rice Happy cooking!
