Corn bacon chowder

Ingredients

• 4-5 slices bacon, diced
• 1 medium onion, diced
• 2 ribs celery, diced
• 1/2 red bell pepper, diced
• 2 garlic cloves, minced
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon pepper
• 1 large potato, peeled and diced
• 6 ears fresh corn, corn removed from ear (about 3 cups corn)
• 4 cups chicken broth
• 1 cup half-and-half, cream, or whole milk
• 1/4 cup cilantro
