Fried dill pickles

Ingredients:

6 dill pickles, quartered
1/2 cup flour
1 egg, beaten
1 cup buttermilk
2-3 tablespoons pickle juice
2/3 cup buttermilk Bisquick
2 teaspoons jerk seasoning (original called for old bay)
1 tablespoon dill weed
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon white pepper

ranch dressing for dipping
oil for frying
  Preparation:

step 1
Heat your oil in a deep pan or fryer until about 180 degrees.

Place the flour in a bowl and set aside.

step 3
In another bowl mix together the egg, pickle juice and buttermilk until well combined. Add the Bisquick, jerk seasoning and dill weed, stir. Then add the lemon juice, salt & pepper, mix.

step 4
Toss your pickles in the flour, removing any excess. Then dip into the buttermilk mixture and carefully place in the hot oil. Fry in oil until golden brown. Serve while hot!
