Breakfast sandwich!

The ?wrapping? part didn?t go so well!  I always do that ? fill my wraps and then they don?t roll!  Oh well, it was still fabulous even if I ate half of it with a fork!

In the mix?

Mini Flatout with provolone and mashed avocado

Then I added a slice of ham, plus an egg white scramble with yellow pepper, mushroom and tomato.  Topped with salsa at the end.

This is my kind of breakfast!!  Especially after an early 6.5 mile run!  I love waking up early (on my own ? no alarm) and refreshed on Saturday mornings.  And?when the sun rises into my bedroom window.  Already 65 degrees outside, I figured I would get a head start on my day.

{I must mention, as I write this, there is a woodpecker on my roof, pecking away, driving me CRAZY!!!!}

Back to that run?  It wasn?t my best ever.  I?m still working back up to a decent pace, where I feel good for a majority of the time.  Today started out ok.  Do you ever feel like the first mile is the toughest?  I feel like that all the time.  Once I?m past mile 1, it does get easier.  But?then I got to mile 3.5 and had to walk.  I just wasn?t feeling it.  I ended up doing walk/run intervals for the last 3 miles:

Walk .1 Run .9 x3

I was still happy with my overall time (avg pace ~ 9 min/mile).  I finished up with some push ups and foam rolling.  My knee craves the foam roller!

I have a busy day ahead?pedicure appointment, 4+ hours at the pool, and then a wedding reception this evening!  A great kind of ?busy?.

I?m off to get the pedicure now.  What are your weekend plans?
