Easter potato terrine
A potato-based terrine hiding eggs for Easter, are you in?

Peel and slice the potatoes. Cook them in salted water for 30 minutes.
Mash the potatoes. Add salt, pepper, nutmeg, and the egg. Mix well.
Then add the diced ham and grated cheese. Grease and flour the loaf pan.
Put half of the mashed potatoes in the pan and press down well to spread the mixture.
Place the peeled hard boiled eggs in a line in the center of the pan. Then cover with the remaining mashed potatoes and smooth the top.
Bake for 30 minutes at 350°F (180°C).
And there you have it, your Easter terrine is ready!
Observations
Adding sour cream: You can add 2 tablespoons for a creamier texture.
Seasoning the potatoes: You can season them to your taste :-)

How much salt pepper and nutmeg?
It depends on your taste. You should put 1/2 to 1/4 teaspoon of pepper and nutmeg. As for the salt, put 1/2 teaspoon, then taste it to make sure it is how you like it.
What cheese is in the recipe?
Here we used Emmental cheese, but you can use cheddar or swiss cheese.
