  • Easter potato terrine - Preparation step 1Peel and slice the potatoes. Cook them in salted water for 30 minutes.
  • Easter potato terrine - Preparation step 2Mash the potatoes. Add salt, pepper, nutmeg, and the egg. Mix well.
  • Easter potato terrine - Preparation step 3Then add the diced ham and grated cheese. Grease and flour the loaf pan.

  • Easter potato terrine - Preparation step 5Place the peeled hard boiled eggs in a line in the center of the pan. Then cover with the remaining mashed potatoes and smooth the top.

Observations

Adding sour cream: You can add 2 tablespoons for a creamier texture.

It depends on your taste. You should put 1/2 to 1/4 teaspoon of pepper and nutmeg. As for the salt, put 1/2 teaspoon, then taste it to make sure it is how you like it.

What cheese is in the recipe?

Here we used Emmental cheese, but you can use cheddar or swiss cheese.
