Walleye on the Grill
When One is lucky enough to have a body of fresh water before them, and that One is lucky enough to have a son who loves fishing, and that same One is lucky enough to have a family that loves fish, then that One is lucky enough to enjoy a meal like this quite frequently. And that is just about the luckiest thing that One can hope for!! Since you probably figured who the One is, then it is only right for the One to share this easy fish on the grill recipe with others in the hopes that some day you will be the One lucky enough to indulge in this wonderful recipe. ***Feel free to substitute the fresh walleye with sole, tilapia, shrimp or the likes, we've done them all this way and they turn out spectacular! Now that I've talked in the third person long enough, on with the show... Walleye on the Grill INGREDIENTS:
4 filets of fish-whatever you like 1 large onion-sliced 1 lemon-sliced 1 small jar capers 1/2 stick butter-cut up salt and pepper Heavy duty aluminum foil DIRECTIONS: Arrange 4 large pieces of aluminum foil on your counter. To that, layer as follows: layer of onion slices, fish, lemon slices, capers, 2 pats of butter, salt and pepper. Then fold up the aluminum tightly--this is where Hubby gets creative and makes the foil packets into fish shapes, he's so cute that way. Place the packets on a preheated grill and cook for about 10 minutes, check fish to make sure it is done* and then serve on a plate in the foil packets. *Different fishes will cook differently, this walleye cooks super fast **We also add other vegetables like zucchini and squash sometimes related searches : Walleye
