Thank you everyone for commenting. It was Apple Crumbles first give away. Check back for more to come ’cause it was fun! :D

We have a movie review from last night to offer, “Valkyrie”.  Now I’m not a Tom Cruise fan, but I did enjoy this one.  Ted fell asleep.  He didn’t like it.  He is the history buff and I’m not so …go figure.

Now for some food… I caught Ted preparing a frozen pizza for lunch. It was a vegetable pizza and he added 2 Morning Star meatless sausage patties, and then …get ready for this…broke an egg in the middle. EEWWWW!

DSCN1074I guess now you know why he likes my cooking…doesn’t take much.

Tonight’s grill:  Grilled Red Snapper

DSCN1082

1/8 cup lemon juice
1 TBS olive oil
3 fresh sprigs Thyme
Salt and red pepper to taste
1 lb Fresh Red Snapper

Mix the first 3 ingredients together. Salt and red pepper the fish.  Pour marinade over fish and let sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.

Set grill to 400 F and grill 5 minutes per side.

The fish is tangy (lemon juice) with a little kick (red pepper), but not much.  It was a hit with both of us, but then again, you can’t go wrong with fresh fish and a good grill chef (that would be Ted).

Served with fresh steamed green beans.

Back to work tomorrow. Everyone… up early, get your workout done, then have a great day!
