Christmas is just around the corner, and what better way to start the meal than with a festive, gourmet aperitif? Here's a selection of vegetarian recipes that will make your guests melt. Simple, tasty and elegant, they'll fit in perfectly with the festive spirit :)


1. Cheese friands with puff pasty

There's nothing like a crunchy puff pastry to kick off the festivities. Prepare little friands filled with a mixture of grated cheese (Emmental, Cheddar or, like us, Comté!) and a touch of cream for a melting result. Cut the puff pastry into squares, add your filling, fold over and brush with an beaten egg. Place in the oven, and you're done! :)


2. Pumpkin and feta cheese spread

For a colorful, creamy aperitif, this spread is a must! Roast pumpkin in the oven with a drizzle of olive oil, then mix with crumbled feta, a little yoghurt and the spices of your choice. Serve with breadsticks, toast or crunchy vegetables. This recipe will bring a touch of sunshine to your winter dishes!


3. Spinach and goat's cheese puff pastry

It couldn't be easier with this recipe that will have your kids loving spinach:) Sauté fresh spinach, mix with crumbled goat's cheese and cream, top with rectangles of puff pastry and bake until golden brown!

5. Ricotta balls with herbs

These little wonders melt in your mouth and are perfect for a refined aperitif! Shape your ricotta into balls, roll them in sesame seeds, nuts, herbs or spices, and all you have to do is enjoy :)


6. Stuffed mushrooms

Select button mushrooms, remove stems and fill with a mixture of mozzarella, olives and sun-dried tomatoes. Place in the oven until the cheese is lightly gratinated. These bites are as delicious as they are quick to prepare! :)
